This special coffee is truly one-of-a-kind. Produced in a limited amount of less than 700 boxes, Esmeralda Geisha Washed is a special Arabica that originates from the warm climes of Panama. Difference Coffee’s long standing relationship with one of Panama’s best producers has enabled them to acquire this rare bean, which creates a juicy flavour, with the sweetness of apricot and a citrusy aftertaste. After a few more sips, notes of jasmine flower, bergamot and stone fruit shine through, embodying both elegance and a bold identity.
Every Difference Coffee is put through a rigorous series of sensory tests and sample roastings to ensure the perfect balance of sweetness, bitterness and acidity. Harvested at their peak in the summer of 2021, the beans are processed by the wet method, fermented under anaerobic conditions with a special yeast inoculation and the ground to perfection. Having just been awarded Double Gold at the Aurora International Taste Challenge, the highest accolade reserved for only the most exceptional products, it’s safe to say that Esmeralda is the best that money can buy.
